ABT Sportsline is the most successful active DTM team. For 25 years, the team from Kempten competed in the racing series with Audi vehicles. The story began in 2000 with the self-developed Abt-Audi TT-R, with which ABT sensationally won against the works teams from Mercedes-Benz and Opel in 2002. This was followed by a further four drivers’ titles, five team titles, 75 victories, 259 podiums, 92 pole positions and 85 fastest laps. In 2007, 2008 and 2009, ABT achieved the only title triple in the history of the DTM.
After a quarter of a century of successful cooperation with Audi, ABT Sportsline is opening a new chapter in the DTM. From 2025, the team from Kempten will be competing in the prestigious racing series with the support of Lamborghini for the first time. The two GT3 racing cars will be driven by none other than reigning DTM champion Mirko Bortolotti and DTM race winner Nicki Thiim. A special highlight on the two Lamborghini Huracáns from ABT is the Genssler sports car logo. Since this year, we have been the official sponsor and premium partner of ABT in the DTM. It fills us with great joy and pride to be part of this successful team and to write further chapters in motorsport history together in the coming years.
